As daytime high and overnight low temperatures continue to progress downward to unsafe levels into the winter months, Samaritan House shared on Friday evening that its newly expanded Safe and Warm Shelter is open for the season in support of homeless in our community.

Thanks to recently completed renovations that more than doubled its size, the shelter now contains 25 beds. Last year prior to renovations the shelter had beds that allowed it to safely support 15 clients.

Any person can attend by coming to the blue door on the East side of the building at 820 Pacific Avenue beginning at xpm. As part of this year’s expansion, hours are now extended through to 9:30am compared to the previous 8am.
